How the 2027 shift will affect your business
What a time to be alive!
We currently have 5 celestial bodies in Aries, the fire sign that kick-starts the zodiac wheel. With Mars, the Sun, Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron all having moved into Aries since the beginning of 2026, many are now feeling the fire to start something new. Aries is the first sign in the zodiac and comes with creative energy. What are you sensing that you want to start? What is pushing through you that you can no longer hold back? A gentle reminder that 2026 is the year of the fire horse, and that we are currently in full throttle. Don’t hold back when you gallop, but be in the now and in your power.
We Are the Lucky Ones!
I consider myself very lucky these days to live at this exact moment in history from a Human Design perspective. Not many people get to experience a shift in a global incarnation cross, but we are the lucky ones.
However, I am not ignorant of the suffering happening on our planet right now. The suffering of every individual affected by wars, crime, poverty, or hunger is unbearable. As an empath, even writing this sentence gives me a tummy ache and a decline in energy. Nevertheless, I still choose to feel lucky to be alive right now.
My previous newsletter explained the shift we are facing in the global incarnation cross, officially beginning in 2027. The shift has already started, and it affects us all. How we do business in the coming years will also change.
How We Do Business Today
In the Cross of Planning, it has been all about survival through tribal connection. From the Channel of Community (the 40-37 channel), we have made different bargains, such as, “If I pay taxes, my kids get an education,” or, “If you work at my company, I will pay you a salary.”
We have also had hierarchies, typically with a CEO at the top of the pyramid followed by several layers of managers and workers, ending with the people working on the floor. We have looked up to and followed advice from so-called gurus, heroes, and self-proclaimed experts who have told us to follow a “one size fits all” routine to be successful. Many business owners have been able to follow a playbook sold by numerous gurus over the years, and many have had success following the recipe. Our societies have been filled with the "expert" energy from Gate 16 and the workbooks and strategies developed from Gate 62.
This is how we have been running our businesses for over 400 years now. In many ways, this has served us well. As humanity, we managed to build institutions all over the world with the same repeatable pattern. We have had structures in place to support our growth and well-being. There are so many things to be grateful for that were developed during the Cross of Planning!
How We Will Do Business in the Future
When we enter the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix, the energy will shift from “we” to “I.” We want to be authentic rather than follow a blueprint designed by someone else. There will probably be more solopreneurs in the coming years and fewer workers who will be bossed around in large companies.
Our Solar Plexus center will also play a huge part in the upcoming shift. We will move from experiencing emotions in a "highs-and-lows" way to feeling clear vibrations of frequencies. We will have heightened sensitivity and move from emotional reactions to emotional clarity.
How we react to the clear vibrations we sense depends on our strategy and inner authority. If you are not familiar with either, this is the time to dive into your bodygraph and familiarize yourself with your chart. This is also the time to play with your chart; to test the waters of your strategy and inner authority rather than following your chart blindly.
The earth will not end, and mankind will not be erased from this earth in the coming years. So, if you feel hopeless right now, know that nature always finds its way. And we are nature, too! Gate 20, the Gate of Now, encourages us to live in the moment. We don’t have yesterday, and we don’t have tomorrow. When we learn how to be present in the now, we will find ways to be true to ourselves through Gate 34, the Gate of Power.
I also believe that we will still have communities and bargains, but that we will show up more authentically in our everyday lives. Communities filled with people who are grounded in themselves are something I deeply long for.
AI will take over the role of the experts, but hey, AI still has a way to go before it is accurate enough to be solely relied on. We will, therefore, still have a need for education, certifications, and skills. The difference might be that we get to go deep into whatever skill we want to master, instead of choosing a skill to excel in a paid workplace just because it helps us pay the bills.
I want to emphasize that the shift isn’t happening from one day to the next. Even though the global incarnation cross is changing, we will not live to see it fully play out because the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix lasts until 2438. We are, however, the lucky ones to be a part of its beginning.
BS Filter Activated
Have you already felt that you can sense when people are giving you BS? Or have you experienced that you no longer can tolerate BS yourself? This is part of our heightened sensitivity.
I have heard from several people that they have gained a “BS filter” over the past few years. They no longer tolerate being lied to or otherwise deceived. Others have difficulty holding back; instead of making up a story to cover something up, they sense that there is no other way than being honest and forthcoming.
This will also change how influencer culture evolves. We don’t want to be deceived into buying stuff that we don’t need, or that doesn’t hold the quality promised by the influencer. Our awareness is increasing, and we will be able to sense, even more than today, what is BS and what is authentic. Life is never as polished as some social media accounts appear to be, and we can even call out the BS when a “behind the scenes” video is clearly staged.
Authenticity will sell, and your clients will sense it when you sell from an authentic place.
Redefining Abundance
The “heart” of the mutation is Gate 55: The Gate of Spirit, located in our Solar Plexus. We are moving away from seeking external abundance in what we often see as wealth today, like money, land, or property, and toward emotional spirit.
Instead of asking, "Is this profitable?" we will increasingly ask, "Does this fulfill my spirit?"
We will not seek spirit in the outward way we often do today. You can find spirit in a temple, but the new incarnation cross will also support you in finding the spirit within yourself.
Abundance will be redefined.
Personally, as I continue to work through my health struggles, I have shifted completely in what abundance means to me. I still need money to pay my bills and support myself, and I continue to invest in both financial funds and in my own well-being, but true abundance has very little to do with my bank account or my job title. Being abundant now means having the energy to show up for myself and my loved ones every day. It means being able to breathe fresh air (and we have a lot of it here on the coast of Western Norway). It means eating healthy food and having friends I can trust.
It also means being able to be myself fully. Many minorities all over the world are denied the opportunity to be themselves fully and unapologetically, even in 2026. For those of us who have the privilege of being who we are and showing up as we are in our communities, we are abundant.
Ask yourself: What does abundance mean to you? What are you missing in your life today that you would like to seek out for your spirit to be uplifted?
Ra Uru Hu encouraged us to trust the process. I encourage you to stay hopeful. This is not a doomsday prophecy; it is simply a shift in the background energy of the planet. As with everything that comes from nature, when we work with it instead of against it, we will ensure a smooth transition.
