Gate 60 - The Gate of Acceptance

We are now in the final days of the sun’s way through the mandala. Today, the sun moves into gate 60, the Gate of Acceptance. This is the end station of this year’s cycle, but obviously, since it is a cycle, the mandala will commence on a new cycle on Rave New Year, which you can read more about here.

The gate of acceptance is also called the gate of limitation, and asks us to see possibilities in the limitations that exist. The gate urges us to stay realistic about what we want to accomplish; what can you contribute within your limitations?

There is a saying, “What you resist, persists”. And if you refuse to accept your limitations, the resistance you hold on to will limit you from innovation. Stay patient and optimistic with a focus on realism.

And if change is one of those things that you refuse to accept, ask yourself how you can let go of what you are holding on to. This gate is coming to us in the middle of winter here in the Northern Hemisphere, and winter is a season where we are invited to rest and look within. Change is coming our way in a few months from now, when Spring arrives, so there is no need to either fear or rush change. Change will come when it is due time.  

Stay patient and in stillness, and embrace these final days of the cycle before we enter a new Rave Year.
