Gate 18 - The Gate of Correction

As the sun enters gate 18, the gate of correction, we step into the energy of what can be done in a better manner. This gate is located in our spleen, and will tell you what and how you can improve whatever is at your hand through your intuition.

The spleen gives you subtle signs, and that goes for this gate as well. You will feel a little notion inside of you guiding you to not only what needs to be corrected, but also how it can be done better.

This is perfect if you work with improving processes, but not so perfect if you use the ability in this gate to constantly improve yourself or those around you. The shadow side of this gate is that you become overly critical and so obsessed with reaching perfection that those around you withdraw from you instead of leaning into your ability to improve. 

Stay mindful of how impactful your criticism can be. First, take a good look at yourself and your actions before you point your finger at others and tell them how to change.
